Real Madrid secured a narrow victory over Tenerife

In Round 24 of the ACB League, Real Madrid hosted Lenovo Tenerife, and the matchup lived up to expectations.

After 40 minutes of a tense battle, it all came down to the last few possessions. Real Madrid eventually prevailed, defeating Txus Vidorreta’s team 80-78, improving their League-leading record to 21-3.

Edy Tavares left his mark on the match with a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds. Additionally, four more players reached the same number of points, with Fabien Causeur, Mario Hezonja, Džanan Musa, and Vincent Poirier adding 10 points each.

On the losing side, Fran Guerra had a double-double with 10 points and 12 boards. Kyle Guy was the top scorer for Tenerife with 14 points, while Bruno Fitipaldo and Marcelinho Huertas finished the match with 10 points apiece.

Tenerife managed to turn the score around in the final minutes, taking a 76-77 lead. However, Facundo Campazzo and Sergio Llull remained calm and concentrated from the free-throw line. Jaime Fernandez missed the chance to potentially win the match for the visitors, and after that, Llull put the game to bed with two precise free throws.

In another EuroLeague match in Round 24 of the ACB League, Valencia emerged victorious with a comfortable 75-97 win. Chris Jones led the scoring with 22 points, while Brandon Davies and Xabi Lopez Arostegui added 14 points each.
