After trailing by a margin of 20 points in the first half, Baskonia rallied to defeat Real Madrid, 105-100, in Fernando Buesa Arena on Sunday.

Falling four points shy of matching his career-high, Trent Forrest registered a game-high 26 points, including 19/19 free throws. Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot followed with 22 points, pushing his side to 1-1 in the Regular Season of Spain’s Liga Endesa, following four straight losses between the domestic league and EuroLeague at the top of the 2025-26 schedule.

On the wrong end, Trey Lyles tallied a team-high 24 points, but his best showing with Los Blancos combined with falling to 1-1 in the ACB. Alberto Abalde and Chuma Okeke did not suit up for the team coached by Sergio Scariolo, besides injured Theo Maledon. Due to league roster restrictions, Markus Howard was a healthy scratch for Paolo Galbiati’s side.

Elsewhere in Round 2, Jaime Pradilla set a new career-high with 22 points behind 8/9 field goals, including four triples, pushing Valencia to a win, 113-90, over Rio Breogan in Lugo’s Pazo dos Deportes. Ethan Happ, Xabier Lopez-Arostegui, Jean Montero, Nate Sestina, and Yankuba Sima remained sidelined for the team coached by Pedro Martinez.
