The Blaugrana team got another win to get a perfect week.
After two victories in Euroleague, Oscar Orellana finished his stint as Barça’s head coach with a victory against Baskonia (91-83)
The interim coach is leaving the bar very high for Xavi Pascual, who will take care of the team on Monday. Barça and Baskonia are now tied with a 3-4 balance.
To the surprise of nobody, Will Clyburn was Barça’s top scorer with 24 points. Kevin Punter (11 p.) and Toko Shengelia (14 p.) also had a great offensive game.
Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot (21 p.) and Markus Howard (14 p.) led Galbiati’s offensive plans.
Even though there was never a huge lead, Barça controlled the rhythm of the game.
The home team might have started the second half losing, but Barça started the third quarter much better, thanks to Dario Brizuela, who had not played the first 20 minutes.
Thanks to that 31-19 run in the third quarter, Barça was able to get a comfortable lead, controlling the game and enjoying another win with its fans, who are happy for the first time all season long.
