Unicaja has already secured its place in the Spanish Copa del Rey, which will be held in Valencia next February.

Ibon Navarro’s team defeated Covirán Granada to improve their record to 10-6 and mathematically guarantee their spot among the top eight in the ACB.

Their qualification was in their own hands. Otherwise, they would have had to wait for the result of the Surne Bilbao vs. La Laguna Tenerife match.

In the second game of Saturday’s schedule, Francis Alonso secured the victory for Río Breogán in Andorra with a buzzer-beating three-pointer. The Spanish shooting guard finished with 28 points in one of the best games of his career.

Hiopos Lleida shocked Dreamland Gran Canaria on the road. The away team secured a huge win against Lakovic’s squad in one of the worst years in recent seasons for the Canarian organization.

In the last game of the night, Surne Bilbao easily beat La Laguna Tenerife to improve to a 8-8 record.
