Real Madrid keeps winning in the Spanish league. Scariolo’s team stepped up in the fourth quarter on the road against Breogán (85-103).
Mario Hezonja (28 p.) and Alex Len (12 p.) had a great game. Usman Garuba added 12 points. Edy Tavares, Gaby Deck, and Alberto Abalde did not play.
It was a close first half in Lugo. Although Real Madrid started with a quick 0-10 run, Breogán fought back to tie it up at the break (43-43).
Hezonja stepped up in the third quarter, and Madrid increased the pace to secure the away win (85-103) and stay on top of the Spanish competition (15-2).
Before that, Girona conquered Zaragoza on the road (90-94). Josh Richardson has not played yet for the Spanish team, and Mark Hughes (24 p.) led the important away victory. Santi Yusta scored 27 in Zaragoza.
James Batemon scored 30 in the thrilling Hiopos Lleida win over San Pablo Burgos (73-72) at home.
In the last Saturday game, Surne Bilbao got the away win against Covirán Granada (84-88) in the overtime. Bozic (25) and Jassel Perez (22) were the top scorers for the local team. Justin Jaworski led Bilbao (25).
