Sunday afternoon basketball in the Liga Endesa features all four Spanish EuroLeague teams as the main protagonists, and the first two games turned into blowouts.

Valencia Basket crushed Hiopos Lleida 101–65, a final score that clearly reflected the gap in quality between the two teams. Josep Puerto, with 19 points, and Jean Montero led Pedro Martínez’s side, who steadily increased their advantage as the minutes went by.

Real Madrid also had a very comfortable game against Casademont Zaragoza, securing a 99–78 win that left the Aragonese side with no real chances. Gabriele Procida delivered one of his best performances in a Real Madrid jersey, finishing as the team’s top scorer with 18 points. Alex Len and Sergio Llull added 15 points each.

Later, La Laguna Tenerife controlled Kosner Baskonia and defeated the Basque team 89-85, that saw its winning streak in Liga Endesa end after seven consecutive victories.
