Andrés Feliz gives Real Madrid the victory at the buzzer

The final game of Round 21 of the Liga Endesa turned out to be the closest contest of the round.

Dreamland Gran Canaria and Real Madrid played an extremely even game that was decided, quite literally, at the very last second.

After an exchange of baskets, Real Madrid had the chance to win the game and Andrés Feliz did not waste the opportunity. The Dominican point guard took responsibility and delivered, scoring the 80–82 buzzer-beater that sealed the final result.

Tobey (22 points) and Wong (17 after a great second half) were the top scorers for the home side. Campazzo, with 18 points, led Real Madrid’s offense.

It looked like the game was already decided when the score reached 42–58 in the third quarter, but Lakovic’s team gradually cut the deficit and managed to tie the game at 75–75 midway through the final quarter.

With the score completely level, the game turned into a constant exchange of blows—a coin-flip finish that ultimately went Real Madrid’s way.
