Patty Mills shines in Spain debut

Patty Mills was the player to watch in ACB Round 23. The Australian, formerly of the San Antonio Spurs, scored 24 points in his debut in the Spanish league.

UCAM Murcia opened Round 32 with a tough away victory in Manresa. David DeJulius exploded for 35 points. Sito Alonso’s team is now 16-7 in the standings.

The game between MoraBanc Andorra and Surne Bilbao went to overtime. Bilbao made a quick 11-15 run in extra time to secure a valuable away win.

Tenerife dominated the first half (30-46). With Patty Mills scoring 12 points in just 9 minutes, Vidorreta’s team took the lead before the break.

They kept punishing Unicaja from beyond the arc in the second half to secure the huge away win in Patty Mills’ debut in ACB. The ‘aussie’ had 24 points, shooting 4/6 from beyond the arc in 23 minutes.

Casademont Zaragoza secured a home victory against San Pablo Burgos to move further away from relegation. Isaiah Washington scored 23 in the win.
