Jan Vesely shines as Barça defeats Unicaja Málaga

Barça and Unicaja Málaga closed out the Liga Endesa round with a great game.

In the end, it was a 97–91 win for the Blaugrana, allowing Xavi Pascual’s side to finish the week with three victories.

Jan Veselý, with 18 points, and Dario Brizuela, with 17, led the scoring for the home team.
Emeri Sulejmanovic, with 19, and Olek Balcerowski, with 18, did everything they could for the visitors, who managed to tie the game at 77 but were never able to turn it around.

Despite having a strong lead during the first half (40-22), Barça couldn’t control Unicaja.

After the break, Ibon Navarro’s sqauad bounced back and even tied the game with less than five minutes to play. But once again, Joel Parra and Jan Vesely stepped up to secure the home win.

Earlier this afternoon, Kosner Baskonia defeated Morabanc Andorra 79-88 and Valencia Basket escaped with the victory fom Burgos 74-79 to bounce back after the defeat in Belgrade.
