Real Madrid lost at home to Rio Breogán (97-101) in a nail-biting finish.

Sergio Llull (20 points) and Mario Hezonja (16) were the top scorers for the home side. Aranitovic (19) led the visitors. Edy Tavares (knee), Usman Garuba, Gaby Deck, and David Krämer (bronchitis) did not play for Scariolo’s team.

Real Madrid struggled to find their rhythm. With some less frequent starters on the court, Scariolo’s team took the lead before the break (46-43).

Breogán took advantage of Madrid’s mistakes to take the lead in the second half (77-87). Len and Feliz put their team up 90-95 with just over a minute remaining. Llull added even more suspense (96-98) with 30 seconds left to play. Breogán ultimately sealed the victory in an epic win (97-101).

Baskonia defeated Valencia Basket on the road in the final seconds. Trent Forrest scored the clutch basket to tie Pedro Martinez’s team in the standings (21-9). Valencia stars like Jean Montero played limited minutes, while Omari Moore had the chance to send the game to overtime but missed.
