Barcelona bounced back from its heavy loss to Valencia with a convincing 91-68 road win over UCAM Murcia to take a 1-0 lead in the ACB quarterfinal series.

Despite Dario Brizuela finishing as the game’s top scorer with 18 points after an excellent first half, several Barcelona players made important contributions. Will Clyburn added 12 points, while Juani Marcos and Youssoupha Fall scored 10 each. Jan Vesely also delivered a solid performance.

For UCAM Murcia, only Ludvig Hakanson Raieste and Dylan Ennis Martin reached double digits with 10 and 12 points respectively, highlighting the hosts’ offensive struggles.

Barcelona controlled the game from start to finish. After a close opening quarter (14-16), the visitors steadily increased the gap and entered halftime with a comfortable 46-30 advantage. Murcia never managed to seriously threaten in the second half, as Barcelona quickly extended the lead beyond 20 points and comfortably closed out the game.

The series now moves to Palau Blaugrana, where Barcelona will have the chance to seal qualification on Thursday.
