The Spanish transfer market has heated up following the release of the official ACB list for the right of first refusal on Monday.

A crucial 13-day window is now open until July 18, allowing rival franchises to submit formal contract offers for the 14 named players. According to tanteo rules, the original Liga Endesa teams will then have a brief five-day period to match any incoming bids to retain them.

The group features notable names like Kaodirichi Akobundu-Ehiogu, Eli Brooks, Devontae Cacok, Nikola Dzepina, Trent Forrest, Donta Hall, Braxton Key, Otis Livingston II, Kelan Martin, Derek Needham, Eugene Omoruyi, Devin Robinson, and Nikos Rogkavopoulos.

Among these individuals, Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot of Kosner Baskonia stands out as the main focus of summer speculation. The 31-year-old French guard-forward is on his way to EuroLeague powerhouse Real Madrid, as reported by Eurohoops. While his inclusion on the list gives the Vitoria-Gasteiz outfit the power to match any external domestic offer, they are ready to negotiate a direct financial buyout agreement with Los Blancos.

Simultaneously, seven other players have officially declared their intentions to return to Spain for the upcoming 2026–27 season, forcing their respective rights holders into various strategic options. While Jorge Diaz Graham, Guillermo Diaz Graham, Mindaugas Kuzminskas, Eli Ndiaye, Jasiel Rivero, Mark Smith, and Arturs Zagars will enter free agency, their previous Spanish sides hold substantial leverage to match outside offers or enforce extensions.

The tanteo rule applies only to transfers that happen between clubs inside Spain.
