Sevilla renews Alfonso Sanchez for 2 seasons

Alfonso Sanchez renewed his contract with Spanish club Sevilla for two more seasons. Sanchez, who came to Sevilla in September 2015, becomes the third reinforcement after the additions of Marc García and Juanjo Trigurero. Last season he played in 34 games in the ACB league with an average of 20 minutes, 7 points, 2 rebounds, an assist and a rebound per game.

Formed in the lower categories of CB Marbella, Alfonso Sanchez has been international in several categories with the Spanish national team, playing the European Junior  Championship in 2005 in Belgrade, the European U20 2006 in the Turkish city of Izmir and the European U20 2007 in Nova Gorica, where Spain got the silver medal.

In the 2003-04 season he signed for Unicaja, where he stayed for two seasons. He’s very experienced in the ACB league, as he has spent his whole career playing in Spain so far.
