Adam Hanga scored a season-high 22 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and dished out 4 assists to his teammates in the game between Baskonia and Obradoiro for the 21th Week of Liga Endesa winning weekly MVP honors for the first time in this season and twice during his career in Spain so far.

Every piece of his contribution was critically important since the Basques narrowly edged their opponents 87 – 86 after a tough battle. Coach Sito Alonso’s team improved its record to 14 – 6 and keeps the fifth place of the standings.

The above statline captures quite well the all-around impact that the Hungarian swingman had in his team’s game. He made buckets (the 22 points he scored after 7/9 two-point shots, 1/2 three-pointers and 5/5 from the line, tie his personal best with Baskonia) provided in board control with seven and “fed” his teammates well enough to finish with four dimes. An impressive aspect of his input is that he committed zero turnovers despite spending 34 minutes on the floor, more than any other Baskonia player.

His performance gave him a number of 34 in the PIR evaluation system, the highest among all players during Round 22.
