Adam Waczynski suffered a leg injury during yesterday’s morning practice that is grave enough to keep him out for the remainder of the season, as Unicaja Malaga announced.

The examinations the Polish player underwent revealed a grade 2 rupture on his left leg calf muscle. Thus the reigning Eurocup champs will cope without him in the two remaining games of the regular season and the entirety of the Spanish League playoffs.

Waczynski averaged 8 points and 2 rebounds per game in Liga Endesa. He’s considered one of the best 3-point shooters in the league, having 47/107 in the season.
