Real Betis announced that Jamaican center Samardo Samuels will no longer be part of the team after a mutual decision between the club and the player.
Samuels, 28, who signed with Real Betis this August is thus a free-agent.
Shortly after the above notice, Real Betis announced his replacement, experienced Montenegrin/Serbian center Vladimir Golubovic. The 31-year-old big guy last played for Best Balikesir of the Turkish Basketball Super League.
