Ante Tomic scored 15 points, including the game-winning basket, and grabbed seven rebounds leading Barcelona to a 67 – 65 home victory over Baskonia and the 2-1 in the Spanish ACB semifinal series.

With the score 72 – 72 following a 3-pointer by Matt Janning, Tomic took into him to help his team win. The Croatian big made the 64 – 62 with a hook shot and then scored for the 66 – 65 after a corner 3-pointer by Rodrigue Beaubois.

An offensive foul by Marcelo Huertas gave Barca the opportunity to extend their advantage, but Adam Hanga lost the ball. Thomas Heurtel, however, came up with a big defense and the steal with less than two seconds left to play to seal his team’s win.

Thus the series will have a Game 4, Sunday (10/6) at Palau Blaugrana again.

Apart from Tomic, Hanga had 10 points, five rebounds and five assists for the winning squad. Victor Claver added nine points.

Tornike Shengelia scored 11 points and grabbed five rebounds for Baskonia. Matt Janning and Rodrigue Beaubois scored 10 apiece while Vincent Poirier notched a double-double of 10 points/10 rebounds.
