Barcelona was outplayed by Andorra in the Catalan League final, suffering its second loss in three preseason games ahead of 2018-2019. Despite the defeat, Barca head coach Svetislav Pesic was pleased with the”attitude” and “desire” that his players showed in the match.
“Andorra played an excellent game with an effective and modern basketball. We received 17 3-pointers. We didn’t play very well but I’m happy with the attitude, with the desire that the players showed to return to the game,” Pesic said per Mundo Deportivo.
“They (Andorra) dominated from the first minute and it wasn’t our day,” Pesic added. “This defeat can help us get to know each other better. There are many players who have just arrived.”
