Kyle Singler has agreed to a one-year deal with Spanish ACB club Obradoiro according to Eurohoops sources, confirmed by the club on Sunday. The deal includes a EuroLeague buyout that a club can use to acquire Singler during the season.
Singler, 30, will thus be returning to Spain where he previously played with Alicante and powerhouse Real Madrid in 2011-2012. With the latter, he won the Spanish Copa Del Rey.
In 2012, Singler signed with the Detroit Pistons. The American forward spent the next years in the NBA playing for the Pistons and the Oklahoma City Thunder and now returns to Europe with the experience of 363 NBA games in his bags.
Spanish website Gigantes Del Basket first reported that Singler and Obradoiro are close to an agreement.
