Barcelona rises triumphant over Real Madrid – ACB Day 24 recap

Barcelona stood strong in the big derby of Round 24 in ACB and prevailed over Real Madrid with an 82-76 road victory to remain on top of the standings with a 20-4 record.

Thomas Heurtel and Kyle Kuric paced the winners with 15 and 13 points each, while Jaycee Carroll was the hosts’ leading scorer with 15 points.

Nothing much changes in regards to the standings after this result, as Real keeps on to its second place with an 18-6 record.

Earlier in the weekend, Baskonia faced defeat from Zaragoza on the road despite a big performance by Johannes Voigtmann.

At the same time, the Spanish League reached a new milestone in points score, with Luka Mitrovic claiming the 2,500,000th point!
