Fotis Katsikaris reportedly released from Jazz and set to join Gran Canaria

Fotis Katsikaris, who served as an assistant coach in Utah Jazz is reportedly released from the team after his wish to return to the head coach position and set to join Gran Canaria for the next two season, as encestando.es reports.

52-year-old Katsikaris signed a three-year deal with Jazz last summer, though he is now freed to return to Spain and take over Gran Canaria’s bench. Katsikaris is multi-experienced in European territory, having coached Valencia, Bilbao, Murcia and Tenerife among other teams.

Per a gazzetta.gr report, the Greek coach will be headed to Las Vegas in order to attend the Summer League and look out for possible signings for Gran Canaria.
