Giannis Bourousis to sign two-year deal with Gran Canaria

Herbalife Gran Canaria has reached an agreement with KIROLBET Baskonia for the ACB rights of Giannis Bourousis to pen the 35-year-old Greek center to a two-year contract, sources tell Eurohoops. Bourousis had already mentioned he was looking to make his way back to the Spanish League.

The past couple of seasons, the experienced big man played in China for the Zhejiang Lions. During the 2018-19 season he averaged 16.5 points, 8 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1 steal and 0.6 blocks per contest.

He previously made a name for himself in Spain joining Barcelona in 2006, Real Madrid through 2013 and 2015 and Baskonia in 2015-16. AEK, Olympiacos, Milan and Panathinaikos are the other clubs he left his mark on.
