Barcelona prevailed over UCAM Murcia on the road with an 87-83 victory in the Spanish League to improve to an 8-2 record in the standings with Nikola Mirotic leading the way.

Murcia was in charge throughout the first half and ended up leading the race with a 41-32 advantage at halftime, though Barcelona’s reaction came eventually in the second half.

Before that, however, some strong words by coach Svetislav Pesic were needed in a time-out

Murcia kept its lead until the middle of the fourth quarter until a late surge by Barca handed them the victory.

Mirotic was once again the best player for Barca, finishing the game with a double-double of 20 points and 11 boards. Jarell Eddie paced Murcia’s efforts with 24 points.
