Valencia captured its second straight win in the Spanish ACB League by beating Fuenlabrada 81 – 70 on the road. The “Taronja” improved their league record to 6-6 to approach the playoffs zone while their opponents dropped to 4-8.
Jordan Lloyd scored 14 points and stole the ball five times for Valencia. Alberto Abalde, Maurice N’Dour and Fernando San Emetrio added nine points apiece.
For Fuenlabrada, Tomas Bellas had 14 points and five assists, Pierre Gillet 12 points and nine rebounds and Marc Garcia 11 points. The hosts were up 35 – 28 at halftime but Valencia stormed into the third period with a 0-19 run and proceeded to take preserve a lead around double digits.
