Barcelona coach Svetislav Pesic praised Real Madrid ahead of the Spanish ACB League game between the two archrivals Sunday (29/12), commenting that the “Blancos” can be competitive vs. not just one or two, but all the teams of the NBA.

“They [Real Madrid] are the best team in Europe in the last two or three years. They may not win titles all the time but they are the best of all in terms of continuity. They can compete against all the NBA teams. I’m sure of that,” Pesic said per Marca. Real is currently on the longest winning streak in EuroLeague with 11th victories in a row.

“They have the experience, they know each other very well and are at a high level,” Pesic added.

Real Madrid has won both of the two clashes against Barcelona in the 2019-2020 season so far. The first victory took place in the Spanish Supercup Final (89 – 79) and the second in the EuroLeague Round 8 match (86 – 76). Both games were held in Madrid.

Barcelona is hosting the upcoming match at Palau Blaugrana. Pesic’s team is 11-3 team in ACB while Real stands at 12-2.
