The Overseas Elite of Errick McCollum and Team Colorado will compete in the final of the “The Tournament”, the competition which will award $2 million to the final winner.
The Overseas Elite are the defending champions and proved it in the semifinal – a rematch from last summer – against City of Gods which included more than familiar faces to European basketball. James Gist (11 p.), Dermarr Johnson (16 p.), Xavier Silas (14 p.), James White, Phil Goss and retired Pops Mensah Bonsu (10) were defeated by the new addition of Unicaja Malaga Kyle Fogg who scored 42 points, while D.J.Kennedy added a double double (21 p., 11 r.) and McCollum had 19 points.
Team Colorado beat Always A Brave 78-70 with Marcus Hall who finished last season in Turkey, leading all scorers with 25 points.
