Do you crave some post-practice or pre-game mac and cheese and you happen to be in Moscow? Fear not, Alexey Shved has your back, with his “Mac&Cheese” food court that he launched in the Russian capital.

The Russian guard spoke to euroleague.net about his new business endeavours, how his love for this particular type of food grew during his time in the US and the decision to start a food business.

“I played in the NBA, I saw that they ate a lot of mac & cheese. This is really good for the athlete, to eat macaroni or spaghetti before the games, it gives you energy, so my wife and I decided to open it in a food court in Moscow”, Shved mentions.

The business seems to run smoothly, and Shved even wants to expand his brand in other places as well. “We want to open more restaurants in other food courts. People really like it, so we will see how it is going in one month or so. We serve mac & cheese with different toppings – bacon, meatballs, chicken, steak… and there is also a kids’ menu.”

The 30-year-old guard, who made his return to action on Thursday after several months, frequently updates his social media with pictures from the food court.
