Shorthanded Bayern falls to Brose Bamberg

Brose Bamberg beat Bayern Munich 69 – 68 at home in a postponed game for Round 17 of the German League regular season to improve to 10-12.

Ibrahim Watson-Boye hit the winning triple for Brose Bamberg with 27 seconds to play while posting 16 points and five rebounds. Noah Locke added 11 points.

Niels Giffey (20 points, six rebounds) and Andreas Obst (17 points) scored in double figures for Bayern. Apart from injured Devin Booker and Oscar da SilvaTheir team was missing Carsen Edwards, Shabazz Napier and Vladimir Lucic for rotation reasons ahead of the EuroLeague game vs. Anadolu Efes Friday (14/3).

Nick Weiler-Babb added 11 rebounds, nine points and six asssists for Bayern.
