After storming back from an 18-point deficit, FC Bayern Munich topped Syntainics MBC, 90-88, in BMW Park.

Deciding Sunday’s game, Shabazz Napier connected a corner three with time running out. Narrowly avoiding a second home loss, his side improved to 21-8, building a one-game advantage over second-placed ratiopharm Ulm with three games left in Germany’s easyCredit BBL Regular Season.

Napier ended up with 21 points. Vladimir Lucic followed with 20 points and Devin Booker put in 15 points. Jack White was ruled out for the Round 30 affair, joining Oscar da Silva (right knee surgery) and Carsen Edwards (back) on unavailable players for head coach Gordon Herbert. Also, Onuralp Bitim did not play.

On the wrong end, Tyren Johnson set his personal best for the 2024-25 season at 25 points.

Later Sunday, ALBA Berlin dominated Niners Chemnitz en route to a 103-81 victory. Up to 16-14 and reducing the hosts to 15-13, a key win in the hunt for a direct ticket to the 2025 Playoffs. Yanni Wetzell posted a 19-point, 10-rebound double-double.
