Brose Bamberg managed to win the German Cup after defeating Alba Berlin in the grand final 74-72.

Demarcus Demonia led his team to triumph with 19 points, Ejiofor Onu scored 12, while Ibi Watson-Boye was also in double figures with ten. On the other side, Malte Delow scored 17, and Justin Bean 11 points.

After knocking down Bayern on Saturday to reach the final, Bamberg secured another victory and thus won the Cup. Alba was ahead for most of the game and entered the last ten minutes with a six-point lead (58-52).

However, after the drama, they were left without the win. The Berlin team took the lead with a three-pointer a minute and a half before the end, but failed to score another point until the end. Meanwhile, Demonia was on fire, and it was he who scored the points seven seconds before the end to decide the game against Alba.

This is Bamberg’s seventh Cup trophy in history, with the last one won in 2019.
