Eurohoops fantasy update for 5th week

A fantasy rules says: you must be well updated about player’s condition and make the changes as soon to the tip off you can. And also, it’s better to sell a good player who his presence is doubtful than to keep him and get zero points by having him in the bench. So, Eurohoopsnet team got trapped in that trick last week with Aron Baynes. We sold him according to the latest news about his injury, but the Australian big guy dominated with 33 points. The thought was right, but the result depressing. In any case, he remains an excellent choice, even though he’s too expensive (78,7 credits).

The hottest name of the next two weeks at least will be Bobby Brown (photo). The only fantasy users, who will not buy him this week, should be those who already have him. He’s in excellent shape as he showed in the last Euroleague games (23 ranking against Unicaja, 43 against Chalon) and in the victory over Milan. Siena’s point guard will have limit up even with -8,9 ranking!!! Is anybody out there to say no to 7,5 credits without… effort? So, Marcus Williams must say goodbye with Stratos Perperoglou and Kostas Tsartsaris following him as soon as their performance is going down.

The new entries are apart from Brown, Krunoslav Simon and Drew Gordon. The Croatian of Unicaja has an important role in his team; he always gives points and a +12 ranking is an easy task for him. Also the American big guy of Partizan is a quality player and should explode in a game like the one against Brose Baskets in Hala Pionir. Gordon is one of the best choices in big guys, as he will raise his value with a small ranking (more than 7,3).

In Eurohoops league, policaj remains on the top having 611,6 points and behind him follow lebronejames (600 points) and zulaika (576). Stay tuned!

Point Guards

Jordan Farmar 106,9 credits (+1,1)

For one more week he’s is the most expensive player in fantasy league adding always points and credits to our team. Of course, he will also stay against Zalgiris.

Bobby Brown 49,7 credits

He will not repeat his great last week’s performance, but as he showed in the game against Milan, he is too HOT! Apart from that, he will give you for sure 7,5 credits.

Shooting Guards/Small Forwards

Vassilis Spanoulis 80,65 credits (+10,55)

The decision to pick him last week was perfect and first of all on time. Olympiacos is in danger and his captain will explode again.

Krunoslav Simon 53,2 credits

An all around player with at least 25 minutes per game is always intriguing for any fantasy team. He’s steady and in Chalon’s court he can have a more than 12 ranking.

Jaka Blazic 33 credits (+7,9)

He came in the team early and he always offers points and credits. He must have more than 8,3 ranking to raise his value, Real Madrid is strong, but we believe him.

KC Rivers 28,9 credits (-4,9)

The game against Panathinaikos which will want to overcome Ikaros’ shock, will be hard for Khimki, but Rivers is a big perimeter weapon.

Power Forwards/Centers

Vladimir Lucic 57 credits (-0,8)

He must have more than 14,3 ranking to raise his value, but the next two home games against Brose Baskets and Besiktas give him the opportunity to explode.

Nemanja Bielica 49,1 credits (+6,4)

He was last week’s hottest name and he remains to be good choice. Cedevita isn’t a strong opponent and with a +14,1 he will a second limit up in row adding more 7,4 credits to your team.

Giorgos Printezis 38,5 credits (-2,8)

He’s not in excellent shape and his value is going down every week. But he’s the most efficient player of Olympiacos’ front line and against Milan’s bad perimeter defence he can score a lot in the middle range.

Drew Gordon 29 credits

In Hala Pionir every player of Partizan is getting at least 10% better. Vujosevic trusts him and he can finally start to… fly.
