Conner Frankamp gets Georgian passport and will join the team for February games

UCAM Murcia’s Conner Frankamp has received a Georgian passport and he will join the national team for the two games in the February qualifiers for the EuroBasket.

Georgia will play against Serbia on February 19th and against Finland on February 21st. They are the hosts at Tbilisi’s Sports Palace. They have already qualified with a 4-0 record in Group E.

The 25-year-old Wichita State alumni started off his career in Europe with the Bulgarian club Beroe in 2018. He then moved on to Rethymno in Greece and finally joined Murcia in the summer of 2020. He was named teh Greek League All-Star and the Top Scorer.

He played 19 games this season so far, averaging 16.5 points, 3.8 assists, 2.4 rebounds in the Spanish Liga Endesa.
