Greece was unstoppable in the second half (41-23) and qualified to the quarter-finals of the 2015 Eurobasket. The Greeks beat Belgium 75-54 in their first victory in a do or die match after 2009 and will now face the winner of the match between Spain and Poland in the quarter-final.

Yiannis Bourousis was the top scorer for Greece with 14 points, while three more players were in double figures, as Giannis Antetokounmpo made a double-double (10 points, 10 rebounds). For Belgium, Pierre-Antoine Gillet had 14 points, while Sam Van Rossom and Matt Lojeski added 14 and 10 points respectively.

Belgium had a good percentage from the three-point range in the first half and managed to remain close to Greece (16-15, 34-31). However, later on in the game, Fotis Katsikaris’ players enhanced their defensive performance and managed to extend the lead steadily, as they made some crucial field goals, while the Belgians struggled from the three-point range. As a result, Greece took a 10-point advantage in the third quarter (51-41), never looked back and advanced to the next round.
