After his big semifinal game Pau Gasol was also asked for a comment about Vasilis Spanoulis and the decision of the Greek star to retire from his country’s national team.
The Spanish legend was ready to answer: “Vasilis has made his mark in the international basketball and Euroleague. He has offered a lot to his team and he decided that it’s his time to retire. It’s a moment that will come for everyone. I wish him well and to continue to play basketball with his club as long as he like and wants to”.
