Two days ago, Portugal prevailed over the Spanish national team in the Malaga preparation tournament ahead of the 2025 EuroBasket.

However, Spain B stole the show by beating Portugal, after also getting the “W” over the Czech Republic, thanks to a dunk by Great Osobor and a lay-up by Guillem Ferrando, which decided the game and the final 64-63.

Alvaro Cardenas led the Spanish team with 10 points, while Ferrando and Osobor also had 10 points.

Coached by veteran tactician Jaume Ponsarnau, the next generation of Spanish players managed to secure a perfect 2-0 win in the prep tournament and make headlines.

From the losing side, which is preparing for the upcoming Eurobasket, Boston Celtics center Neemias Queta tried to turn the tide with 12 points and five rebounds, but ultimately couldn’t.

Portugal will compete in Group A of EuroBasket 2025, alongside Latvia, Serbia, Turkey, Estonia, and the Czech Republic.
