Following his fantastic performance in the victory of Greece over Lithuania, Kostas Sloukas admitted that playing in “Sinan Erdem” affects his mojo in a more than positive manner.
“In 2012 I won the EuroLeague with Olympiacos. This year I became a champion here with Fenerbahce. Today, we’ve won a very critical match and I think Sinan Erdem is my lucky hall. I have very good memories from this place. I hope that luck helps the whole team, not only me,” Sloukas told Eurohoops.
The 27-year-old guard finished with 21 points, 4 assists, 5 rebounds and great shooting (5/7 3s) in key periods of the match. “We played like a team. That’s what’s important. We have talent, quality and we totally showed that today.”
