Sasha Djordjevic and the rest of the Serbian squad thanked their fans, who gathered up to celebrate another medal.
“Thank you for your support, thanks to these guys,12 legends of Serbian sport and basketball, 12 legends of world basketball. These guys make me proud and happy”, Djordjevic said.
Milan Macvan spoke to the crowd next: “Thank you for the wonderful welcome. We have felt your energy, I am grateful to you on behalf of my teammates and the coaching staff. This can not be described by words. I hope that next time we will meet with the gold medal.”
