FIBA unveiled the official logo of the next EuroBasket, which will be hosted by Czech Republic, Georgia, Germany and Italy in September of 2021.

Per FIBA: “The official logo of FIBA EuroBasket 2021 was unveiled on Monday via FIBA’s digital platforms, marking another milestone ahead of the 41st edition of the flagship event to be hosted by Czech Republic, Georgia, Germany and Italy.

The innovative logo, designed by London-based agency TwelfthMan, draws inspiration from the drama, excitement and anticipation of Europe’s showpiece competition that connects fans across the continent and beyond.

The various digital elements visible in the logo symbolize the energy and the buzz surrounding FIBA EuroBasket 2021 and come together to form the distinctive shape of the famous Nikolai Semashko Trophy.

“The launch of the logo is an important milestone in the leadup to FIBA EuroBasket 2021 that now sets the stage for the start of the Qualifiers in February,” said FIBA Executive Director Europe Kamil Novak.

“The logo was chosen by the national federations of the four host countries and we are delighted both with the end result and their joint efforts and cooperation in the selection process. It is great to see that this partnership is off to an excellent start, and we believe it has the potential to deliver the most successful event in the history of the competition.”

FIBA EuroBasket 2021 will take place from September 2-19, 2021.

This is the third time that the competition is co-hosted in four countries, with the multi-hosting format proving a major success when it was introduced in 2015 and then again in 2017.

You can find the downloadable version of the official logo here.
