Roko Ukic moves to Cedevita Olimpija

Roko Ukic joined Cedevita Olimpija for the 2020-21 season, the 7DAYS EuroCup and ABA League team announced on Thursday. He signed up for his third run with the club, first since Cedevita merged with Olimpija in 2019 to create the side based in Ljubljana.

The 2014-15 and 2017-18 seasons marked his stints with Croatian team Cedevita. Last season, the 35-year-old Croatian guard was featured in France’s Pro B putting up 12.4 points, 4.4 assists, and 2.4 rebounds per match with the Antibes Sharks.

His long professional run has brought Ukic from Croatia to Spain, Italy, Turkey, Greece, and France, also in the NBA for 85 games between the Toronto Raptors and the Milwaukee Bucks a full decade ago.

As for EuroCup, he returns following 25 previous appearances, 18 of which with Cedevita. He has also pinned up 154 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games throughout his career.

Cedevita Olimpija already added Kendrick Perry, Alen Hodziz, Ziga Dimec, and Mangok Mathiang, re-signed Jaka Blazic and Mikael Hopkins, and brought in youngsters Dan Duscak and Rok Radovic.
