Sean Kilpatrick became a player of Herbalife Gran Canaria, the team based in Las Palmas announced Monday.

Kilpatrick, 30, recently parted ways with Tofas. He took part in two Basketball Champions League games averaging 16.5 points for the Turkish club and also posted 18.9 points per contest in the Turkish league.

The veteran of 157 NBA games returns to the 7DAYSEuroCup following his 2019-20 stint as a member of Buducnost VOLI. The previous season, he debuted in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague with Panathinaikos.

The former Cincinnati standout split his NBA career between the Minnesota Timberwolves, Denver Nuggets, Brooklyn Nets, Milwaukee Bucks, Los Angeles Clippers, and Chicago Bulls.

The Spanish club also announced an agreement with Jacob Wiley to temporarily suspend their contract allowing the 26-year-old big to return to the USA and recover after testing positive for coronavirus.

Gran Canaria, with one Regular Season affair left, has clinched a EuroCup Top 16 berth. Its poor domestic campaign so far generates a 3-10 tally, one win away from the bottom of the ACB table.
