Herbalife Gran Canaria completed the two-game sweep over Boulogne Metropolitans 92 with a 66-64 victory at home to enter the 7DAYS EuroCup semifinals for the first time since 2016.

A. J. Slaughter making a clutch mid-range jumper for a four-point lead with 35 seconds left highlighted his team-high 16 points in Game 2 of the best-of-three quarterfinal series held Friday. Matt Costello added nine points and Andrew Albicy paired his seven points with a game-high five assists against his former team.

The Spanish outlet reached the EuroCup semifinal stage for the third time. Game 1 of the next round is planned to be held on Tuesday, April 6.

The visitors were in control for the first 25 minutes but failed to connect a stronger punch, potentially finishing, building a lead larger than seven points. Anthony Brown’s game-high 19 points fell short of the W in a hard-fought battle.
