Zeljko Obradovic has not decided yet on his future

Zeljko Obradovic has not yet decided if he will return to action, despite the report of Kurir about a deal between him and Partizan. The most decorated coach in the history of European basketball has on the table a three-year offer in order to return to the club he began his career with back in 1991.

With that being said and despite the recent statements by Partizan president Ostoja Mijailovic, while there’s almost constant contact between the two sides, there’s no deal at least at this moment as Eurohoops sources confirmed.

After taking a one-year hiatus following his departure from Fenerbahce Beko last summer, Obradovic said that he will be exploring his options to look whether he will return to coaching and the team he may sign with by the end of June.

It has to be noted also that since Obradovic never hide his emotional connection with Partizan, the club is trying to lure him back for a long time, especially after his decision to leave Fenerbahce. However, during the last few days and despite the public statements of Zeljko Obradovic about his future, any prediction about when and if he will coach again next season are premature.
