Julyan Stone signs for a sixth season at Venezia

Julyan Stone has committed for a sixth season at Reyer Venezia, the team announced Saturday.

“I have achieved great things with Reyer, but the journey is not over yet,” said the experienced swingman, “I still can help achieve some things and I will put in my hard work to give us the best chance at success. My role in the team may change, but my motivation will continue to grow.”

Stone, 32, became a member of Venezia for the first time back in 2014. He returned in 2017 and again in 2018. His 219 appearances rank him ninth in the all-time list of the Italian club. He has won a couple of LBA championships and one Italian cup.

Last season, he averaged 5.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.2 steals per 7DAYS EuroCup match. At the domestic level, he added 5.5 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per LBA game.

Michele Vitali, Martynas Echodas, and Jeff Brooks have been added by Venezia building up for the next edition of EuroCup and domestic competitions.
