Partizan NIS president Ostoja Mijailovic told 24sedam that the overall team budget amounts to six million euros. He discussed financial details to reassure fans his side is not on a spending spree.

“I am disclosing the budget of the Partizan following voiced concerns,” he said, “The senior team, youth team, and coaching staff budget is around six million euros. This is close to the budget of the last two seasons.”

The Serbian team brought back Zeljko Obradovic nearly thirty years after his departure in 1993. Besides the legendary head coach, Aleksa Avramovic, Balsa Koprivica, Rodions Kurucs, Zach LeDay, Yam Madar, Dallas Moore, Kevin Punter, and Alen Smailagic shape the summer additions.

“I will not discuss the contracts of every player separately. That would not be fair for them and their families,” added Mijailovic.

Partizan is currently going through the preseason ahead of its participation in the 7DAYS EuroCup and ABA League.
