Arnoldas Kulboka pens one-year deal with Promitheas

Lithuanian forward Arnoldas Kulboka is leaving Charlotte and moving back to Europe with Greek side Promitheas Patras for the 2022-23 season, according to Eurohoops sources.

Kulboka, 24, was selected in the second round of the 2018 NBA Draft by the Charlotte Hornets and joined the team for the 2021-22 season, before being assigned to Greensboro Swarm in the NBA G-League, where he averaged 14.3 points and 5.3 rebounds per game.

This will be Kulboka’s first experience in the Greek Basket League and in the 7DAYS EuroCup. Prior to taking the leap to the NBA, Kulboka has played for the U18 squad of Zalgiris and Brose Bamberg, Orlandina in Italy, and Bilbao in Spain. In 2018, he was named the Basketball Champions League Best Young Player.
