Despite missing both Sam Dekker and Kostas Koufos, London Lions got the historic 80-75 win over Dolomiti Energia Trento and saved the honor of the hosts in Tuesday’s games for the second round of the 7DAYS EuroCup.

Aaron Best sealed the deal from the free throws line for the Lions having in total 11 points, while Ovie Soko with 22 points and 14 rebounds was the star of the show.

Drew Crawford and Diego Flaccadori added 17 points each for Trento, but it was not enough. It was the first win of a British team in the EuroCup in the last 18 years.

Turk Telekom Ankara beat Hamburg Towers 88-83 as Tyrique Jones was the standout performer, recording a 15/10 double-double in points and rebounds. Tony Taylor had 25 points, off the bench. For the losing side, Marvin Clark was the top scored with 23 points.

Buducnost VOLI Podgorica destroyed Slask Wroclaw on the road for a 98-58 win, the biggest-ever victory of the club in 184 EuroCup games, and the second-biggest-ever road win in the history of the competition. Cameron Reynolds with 21 points was the top scorer of the Montenegrin club.
