After starting the season on a low note in the 7DAYS EuroCup, Slask Wroclaw decided to hire the former Galatasaray head coach Ertugrul Erdogan.

The Polish team is currently last in Group B with a 1-13 record, three wins behind Towers Hamburg and the playoff picture, and they sacked Andrej Urlep to bring in the Turkish head coach.

54 years old, Ertugrul Erdogan has signed until the end of the 2023-24 season with Slask Wroclaw. In recent years, he has coached Turk Telekom Ankara (2013-14), Bahcesehir (2015-19), and Galatasaray (2019-20), while being the assistant coach of the Turkish national team.
