After a tumultuous season, the 30-year-old experienced American guard Andrew Andrews is heading to Joventut Badalona, officially signing a two-year deal with the Catalan team that will play in both ACB and BKT EuroCup.

Starting the 2022-23 season with Panathinaikos and debuting in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, Andrew Andrews didn’t find himself in a usual situation, finally finding an agreement to get released from the green-and-white club in March, coming back to Bursaspor to average 14.4 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game in Turkey.

With the Turkish team, he was the protagonist of an excellent run with Dusan Alimpijevic’s side in the 2021-22 EuroCup, losing only to Virtus Bologna in the final while averaging 14.0 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 4.2 assists while shooting 50.0% from two, 39.8% from deep, and 84.2% at the line.

Before moving to Bursaspor in 2021, he also wore the jerseys of Balikesir, Delaware 87ers, VEF Riga, Hapoel Afula, Tuyap Büyükçekmece, Maccabi Haifa, and Darussafaka.

The black-and-green club will play in next year’s BKT EuroCup, being drawn in Group A with Hapoel Vegan-Friendly Tel Aviv, Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana, Paris Basketball, Umana Reyer Venice, BC Wolves, Besiktas, Veolia Hamburg Towers, Prometey, and London Lions.
