Andrew Andrews scored 33 points in just 23 minutes as Joventut Badalona crushed Hamburg Towers 108 – 76 to return to wins in the EuroCup. This was the second-highest scoring ever in the American guard’s career after the 37 points he had in a Bursaspor win over Virtus Bologna in 2022.

It was a stellar night for Andrews apart from his scoring since he also had four assists, three steals and didn’t commit any turnover. DeShaun Thomas contributed 16 points and Kenny Cherry had 12 points for a Badalona team that dominated the first half 66 – 42, never to look back and move to 3-2.

Seth Hinrichs (16 points, eight rebounds) and Mark Hughes (13 points) and William Christmas (11 points, nine rebounds) stood out from still winless Hamburg.

Tuesday’s (30/10) EuroCup games began with Wolves Vilnius registering an 86 – 78 away victory over Cedevita Olimpija. Rasheed Sulaimon had 22 points plus seven rebounds for the winning side while Amadou Sow was the top contributor for the hosts with 13 points plus 13 boards.

In Italy, Dolomiti Energia Trento registered its second straight win by downing Turk Telekom 101 – 96 in overtime thanks to the trio of Kamar Baldwin (28 points), Andrejs Grazulis (22 points seven rebounds) and Quinn Ellis (21 points, six rebounds).
