Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem has bolstered its backcourt with the signing of Cassius Winston.
The 28-year-old guard arrives from Reggio Emilia, where he averaged 15.9 points and 5.1 assists in the Italian League, along with 14.8 points and 5.7 assists in the Basketball Champions League.
A former Michigan State star, Winston has NBA and EuroLeague experience, having played for the Washington Wizards, Bayern Munich, and Tofas Bursa.
He now prepares for his first EuroCup season, teaming up with MVP Jared Harper in the Jerusalem backcourt.
Veolia Towers Hamburg have signed 18-year-old guard Janne Mueller to a three-year deal. He joins from Telekom Bonn’s system after helping Dragons Rhondorf win Germany’s Pro B title last season.
Mueller also won gold with Germany at the U18 European Championship and silver at the U19 World Cup this summer. He’ll split time between Hamburg’s senior team and SC Rist Wedel.
